For some time I have been walking under Karlin Viaduct or also Negrelli Viaduct as it is called on my way to work. It is the very first railway bridge that was built in Prague. It is still in use today although the landscape surrounding it has changed a lot through the time. You can tell when passing by that it originates in completely different era. This makes this structure very captivating for me. The pencil sketch below captures the viaduct and its abandoned little wooden house in Karlin with a slope of Zizkov housing estates in the background.
